THE BODY UNITED IS THE BODY IGNITED
El Paso Call to Worship is an annual worship event sponsored by The Body United to create a platform for people to experience Spirit-filled worship regardless of their denomination or church affiliation. It is a forum that compels us to shift our focus back to Jesus, the One who unites us, the One who ignites us, the One who equips us for service. In His Presence, we are set ablaze and we carry the flame back to light up our various communities.
The Body United is not a church, just a group of believers that seek to break down the walls that separate us as Christians. Our goal is to implement a collaborative approach to citywide outreach. We envision community members and churches working together to have a greater impact in the city of El Paso.
MEET THE ARTISTS
While it takes a few conversations with some people to uncover their life’s true passion, it takes roughly thirty seconds when talking with worship leader Christine D’Clario. From beginning to end, it’s clear that worship is her lifestyle, and proclaiming God’s goodness, faithfulness and grace is her top priority – pure and simple.
With her angelic voice and soulful sound, inspirational singer and songwriter DOE (a.k.a. Dominique Jones) is a refreshing presence in the music industry today. DOE is a multi-layered artist who is ready to bless the world with her authenticity, incredible talent, and an undeniable musical gift that will allow her to have lasting impact on all who hear her sound.
A Christian music artist, Matt Gilman is a singer and songwriter who has said that his goal as an artist is “to provoke this generation to search out the knowledge of God.” Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Gilman’s father was a Lutheran pastor, and at the age of eight he started studying music, focusing on the piano. At 14, Gilman began following in his father’s footsteps, leading worship at the family’s church. In 2002, Gilman attended a conference on worship music at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, and he said the experience “opened up a whole new understanding of worship with the Word of God.”
